Okemos will be hosting POWWOW a multi-team scrimmage this MONDAY, August 21st. Our 7th grade and 8th grade teams are scheduled and committed to play.

Per Okemos Youth Football:
The POWWOW is an opportunity for participating teams to practice football in a controlled, live setting. At the 7th grade level each team will play a series of three scrimmages. In each pairing, teams will receive 16 minutes on offense and 16 minutes on defense. Teams will then rotate and play against a different opponent using the same time format. There are four teams for at 7th grade and five teams at 8th grade. The additional team at 8th grade means each team will play four scrimmages with a “bye” and 10 minutes on offense and defense in each pairing. No special teams play.
