Team Mom Information

UNIFORMS

Do NOT bleach.
Do NOT iron the jersey. It will melt the numbers.
Do NOT wash in hot water. Wash in cold only.
Do NOT put in dryer. Line dry only.
Do NOT cut or alter the jersey in any way.
Team Mom needs to assist the coach by reminding parents to bring an extra shirt to the last game of the season (playoff games if applicable) so all jersey’s can be collected at same time. Team Mom (or coach) is to wash ALL jersey’s together, fold and store in container issued with jersey’s.

SNACKS (drink and snack following games)

Assist the coach if needed to make a snack schedule.
Always a good idea to remind the next week’s snack parent while having snack following the game.

HELP ORGANIZE END OF YEAR TEAM PARTY

Get with the coach and see what he may want to do. Some idea’s are:
pizza party at someone’s house, Ci-Ci’s, or Y-Not Pizza
picnic at a park with parent vs kids baseball game (divide up food items to bring amongst parents)
Tides game

APPRECIATION FOR THE COACH

Team Mom should get w/ other parents to get something for showing appreciation towards the coach at the end of the season. Suggestions:
A baseball w/ stand signed by the kids
A miniature batting helmet in matching team signed by the kids with special pen
A plaque, Major League Baseball memorabilia, or something of that sort.

TROPHIES

Team Mom can discuss with the other parents if they would like trophies for the kids (avg cost is usually $5 or $6). Assist coach if he needs it with collecting money or ordering the trophies.
(note: KRA supplies trophies only to tournament champions)
