KRA Sports offers Futures (Coach and Tee-Ball) Softball for girls that are 5-7 years old.
Our Futures Softball program is designed to teach the fundamentals of Softball (hitting and fielding) in a supportive, positive, team environment.
Requirements:
Players must be at least 5 years old by the signup date,
Recommendations:
It is recommended that children have a proven desire to play, and have previously played ball in the backyard.
Game skills Progression:
All batters will hit from a coach pitch and be given a chance to hit from a batting tee that is adjusted to a height that allows the batter to swing level.
Game Setup:
All rostered players present for the game will bat in order, and play the field each inning. An adult coach is stationed beyond the infielders, in order to provide instruction to all defensive players.
